Jade Seed Wellness

hey, I'm Lacey

I'm a Dr. of Chinese Medicine,
Needle-Free Acupuncture expert,
Conscious Leadership Mentor, and Creator who believes you've gotta build your well-being from the inside out

Dr. Lacey Dupre is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, a licensed and board-certified acupuncturist, clinical herbalist and CranioSacral Practitioner.

Lacey founded Jade Seed Wellness in 2017 and currently acts as Clinic Director.

As a practitioner, she is known for her intuitive approach to Chinese medicine and particularly for her skills as a Needle-Free Acupuncturist, Stone Medicine practitioner and energy healer.

EFFICACY AND EFFICIENCY FOR ENHANCED HEALING.

My work is the intersection of science & culture.

As a Dr. of Chinese Medicine, I am a chronic dis-ease specialist.
As an Anthropologist and Silversmith, I make Teishin: heirloom Acupuncture tools based on ancient principles, redesigned for modern use.
As a Craniosacral Practitioner and Empathic Intuitive I have developed a complete program to address chronic stagnation and emotional blocks we encounter as we are trying to Live our Best Life.
And as a Research & Plant/Soil Scientist I have done the research and the experimenting.

Why do I love the teishin?

My journey into solely using the teishin, over the commonly used filiform insertion needles, was a slow and gradual process.
My patients were on board before I was. They loved the teishin and told me it 'worked better' than when I used the modern, filiform needles.
Inserting needles is completely unnecessary and a modern adaption to the older, more superior lineage of Acupuncture without insertion.

I learned and listened
to my mentors
to my patients
to my heart...

Going inward, resting and quiet listening proved much more difficult than expected. As a research scientist, I was trying to avoid the 'woo'.
I spent my years obtaining a doctorate trying to 'prove' how the teishin was working.
From epigenetics to inflammation, the BioField to the Gut Brain and HPA Axis Dysfunction, I scoured PubMed and further scholarly publications to uncover how the teishin was performing so well.
I ended up finding up numerous verifying articles, all related to the efficacy of insertion-free Acupuncture.
But I eventually realized: I had to let go and simply serve.
My practice is at the intersection of the ancient art of Chinese Medicine and Biofield Therapy.

Clinically, I see firsthand:
You are more than a 'mind-body' connection.
The subtle body + emotional blueprints are at the root of your healing capacity.

Once I set this intellectual desire to 'know' aside and just allowed myself to explore the Biofield, the subtle body and the role that the breath plays in healing, I began seeing even better results clinically.

I listened and I could 'hear' my patients - their body told me where there was a 'block', where they needed movement, where they needed expansion or holding and what doors to open inside of them to allow for their innate healing potential to do what we all do best: heal.

My patients show me without words:
Your body knows how to heal.
Your body want to heal.
I facilitate the optimal stage so you can do what you do best - heal.

you know best how to heal, I open the doorS.

As an anthropologist, I began my endeavor to learn and practice the world's most efficacious and enduring medicine and I found it in Traditional East Asian Medicine.

I saw that descriptions of subtle energies had been described by nearly every healing tradition for millennia and feature prominently in numerous indigenous forms of medicine.

Many years later, clinically, as a practicing Dr. of Chinese Medicine, I saw that what I practiced was a form of channelling as well. I was opening up a so that my patients could communicate with their Higher Selves and I was connecting them to 'Source' or Universal Energy to facilitate their healing.

I grew up listening to the traditional medicine folk of my culture, the traiteurs ("treaters") - the Cajuns in south east Louisiana who learned from the Attakapas Indian and the African slaves as well as spiritual legacies from Europe.

I honor and thank all who came before me and hope to sow love and connection as their legacy.
